KCA Grammar School

First-grade pupil
During the Grammar phase, children are particularly adept at memorization. Young children learn songs and rhymes, and recite facts with relative ease. Since young children are very eager to memorize they will even make up non-sensical playground rhymes, so we challenge them by providing substantial subject matter for them to memorize.

"In short, education is primarily about what we are trained to love, not just what we are taught to know."
-Kypur

Throughout each year in Grammar School, classically educated children learn the
factual foundation of each subject.

The educational goal at KCA,
with the Grammar School students,
is to develop the building blocks for the
future development of their verbal
and written methods of communication.

To this end, KCA emphasizes language skills (reading, grammar, and spelling), handwriting, history, Bible, mathematics, and Latin in its
Grammar School and will supplement these
important subjects with science, music,
art, and physical education.

We invite you to come and see how a classical Christian education can make a positive difference in your  child's future in both education and moral training.
