Your Role:

Design and implement dynamic lesson plans that adhere to our classical Christian curriculum, sparking joy and curiosity in students.
Teach a range of subjects, bringing each to life with enthusiasm.
Assess and celebrate student achievements, guiding them to reach their highest potential.
Create a classroom environment that promotes respect, growth, and active participation.
Collaborate with fellow educators and administration to continuously improve teaching practices.
Communicate effectively with students, parents, faculty, and staff.
Dedicate yourself to continuous professional growth and lifelong learning opportunities.
Serve as a Christian role model for students and families.
Work effectively with support staff to enhance the learning experience.
Maintain strict confidentiality regarding all information about parents, faculty, and staff.
Practice responsible stewardship of school resources.
What We Look For:

A genuine passion for education, with a bachelor’s degree or a minimum of 3 years of teaching experience.
The ability to inspire elementary school students, coupled with a strong understanding of childhood development and educational best practices.
Basic computer skills for effective communication and grade management.
Creative teaching methods that engage every student.
Strong organizational skills and effective classroom management techniques.
Experience teaching in an elementary classroom setting.
Willingness to learn and implement classical Christian teaching methods.
Agreement with Knight’s Christian Academy’s Statement of Faith.
High standards of honesty and integrity.
Ability to collaborate effectively with other professionals and work independently.

Reliability and dependability.
Position Details:

Type: Full-time, Contract
Salary: $18.01 to $22.89 per hour, depending on experience.
Benefits: Includes paid personal days, school holidays, and professional development days during the 10-month contract. Optional supplemental insurance benefits are also available.
